Position Details:
Title: Sales Specialist
Location: Boston, MA
Shift: M-F
Compensation: $50k-$60k +0.06% commission of region sales
Benefits: Robust benefits package
Travel: Frequent daily travel, some overnight monthly travel
Responsibilities include:
The Sales Specialist is responsible for establishing a leader in quartz and solid surface products within an assigned territory for the retail segment. Ensure that all retail centers, including independent dealers, and Home Center personnel recommend products as their first choice when selling to the end consumer.
Assist with customer entertainment events, and other promotional activities as needed.
Ensure customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales in all locations.
Increase market share by elevating the number of displays and point of purchase (pop) materials.
Identify new customers and set them up with initial retail package: samples, displays, & collateral.
Develop and promote brand awareness with all potential customers within assigned territory.
Attend industry related events regularly (NKBA, ASID, AIA, NARI) to build relationships.
Gathers market intelligence and provides data to Account Managers.
Identify and resolve any client concerns and maintain key relationships with customers.
Keep current customers informed and trained on new and existing products and programs.
Visit retail customers and support generating sales with store personnel.
Reports daily activity and monitors customer databases through company systems, Salesforce.
Requirements:
4-year degree in Marketing or Business or 2-3+ years of retail experience in the industry preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational and analytical skills
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience in a solid surface manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the USA, have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
