- Process, create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Momentum voice solutions and services. Promote the sale of bundled products to ensure the optimal solution for the customer. Sell with goal of exceeding departmental financial and unit targets. Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Momentum's services in the marketplace.
- Develop sales territory, account plans and maintaining qualified Telecom Consultants, Master Agents, VAR's, IT Vendors and System Integrators as well as local business partnerships and organizational affiliations. Actively generate new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships. Actively seek ways to promote and position the Momentum brand within territory.
- Retain customer base, ensuring a superior customer experience. Maintain and build customer relationship to drive customer retention, working with internal teams to ensure our operational efficiencies and service levels meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate and quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports as required.
- Must demonstrate ability to utilize Salesforce within 3 months of hire.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in utilizing and evangelizing Momentum Telecom products and services within 3 months of hire.
- Able to provide accurate budget forecasting in respect to sales quota on a regular basis.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to consistently maintain partner relationships.
- Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- B.A. or B.S. Degree preferably in Business or Sales and Marketing, or the equivalent in work experience.
- Proven track record of sales, including five or more years of business-to-business outside sales experience
- Proven track record of selling voice services, Microsoft preferred
- Proven track record of closing new business and adding new logos
- Preferred experience with following:
- Microsoft Collaboration Solutions
- Voice Network Technologies (including VoIP)
- Data Networking Technologies, Functionality & Services (SDWAN, LAN, WAN)
- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts
- Self-starter with excellent time management and business sales skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator, with strong presentation skills
- Strong persuasive abilities and negotiating skills.
- Results driven with focus on goal achievement
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up
- Technical aptitude and strong knowledge of computers and the Internet
- Previous experience with Salesforce strongly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word

Momentum Telecom is a leading global provider of managed cloud services to medium to large enterprise customers. Momentum's offerings include cloud voice, unified communications and collaboration, and managed network connectivity including SD-WAN. Momentum utilizes a network of channel sales partners in addition to a direct sales team and leverages relationships with top-tier technology partners to optimize best-in-class cloud-based technology offerings. Momentum's purpose is to enable others to thrive.
This position will play a key role in the growth and expansion of business services and product offerings at Momentum Telecom. The individual in this role is primarily responsible for the sale of Momentum Hosted voice and network to mid-size and large businesses through Momentum's sales model.
The Voice Sales Manager will coordinate successful revenue generating opportunities, create account plans, market plans and direct product and service delivery initiatives within the voice portfolio of services. This role will work with direct and partners selling the Momentum brand alongside its multiple lead sources through its sales go to market strategy.
