    Description
    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The primary role of the VP of Land is to oversee the divisional land team with the goal of building a pipeline of quality communities within the division. The position is a direct report to the Division President with strong relationship to the Regional VP of Land and the National VP of land.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • New Community Opportunities - Review/Analize
    • Area Figures - Budgets
    • Development Budgets - Create/Monitor/Adjust
    • Site Contractor - Bids/Review/Manage
    • In/Out Inspections
    • Manage Development Opportuities
    • Legal Agreements - Review Site Development Language
    • Land Banker - Relationships
    • Seller - Relationships
    • Site Contractor - Relationships
    • VP of Operations - Relationship
    EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
    • Minimum three years of minimum related experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Finance and Real Estate are preferred)
    • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
    • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • The work environment is representative of an office/field setting
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
