- Weekly payment of vendor invoices, including the processing of ACH batch payments.
- Maintenance of accounts payable & receivables transactions in the bank system.
- Clearing of all bank transactions for monthly bank reconciliation.
- Prepares, posts verify, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
- Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
- Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
- Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
