    A prominent global law firm renowned for delivering innovative legal solutions to a wide array of prestigious financial institutions and Fortune Global 500 corporations, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support their Litigation Practice Group in NYC.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic business development and marketing plans, collaborating with partners, internal teams, and stakeholders to achieve set objectives.
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the practice's market positioning, strengths, industry expertise, and client base.
    • Craft compelling written proposals, pitches, and communications for clients and potential clients.
    • Spearhead content-driven campaigns to drive new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the global business development team to identify and pursue cross-selling initiatives.
    • Assist in nurturing key client relationships and facilitating the growth of high-value services.
    • Coordinate seminars, events, and targeted marketing activities.
    • Assist in managing business development budgets.
    • Work with functional managers on PR, communications, and digital marketing efforts.
    • Travel as necessary to support initiatives and engagements.
    • Lead additional projects within the Department or Firm as assigned.

    Required Proficiencies:

    • Understanding of legal and professional services marketing trends and technologies.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, document management systems, and CRM systems.
    • Strong online research skills and ability to analyze market information.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with law firm operations and corporate legal clients' needs.
    • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and concepts.
    • Basic understanding of networking and relationship management.
    • Strong team building, management, and leadership abilities.
    • Fundamental knowledge of legal concepts.
    • Ability to effectively manage priorities and projects independently.

    Qualifications:

    • BA/BS Degree required.
    • Minimum 5 years of work experience required, preferably with law firm experience.
    • Experience supporting a Litigation Practice Group is preferred.
