    Job description

    NGON Solutions is hiring for a Field Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be supporting the company's production efforts on location, improving efficiency and meeting quality standards. This role can be on-call or part-time so is suitable for someone with additional hours, leading to full time when suitable.

    Candidate MUST live near Hearne, TX or College Station, TX.

    Competitive pay for the right candidate.

    • Be active to identify and resolve issues regarding safety and reliability
    • Submit accurate reporting including safety, site logs, incident and other necessary paperwork
    • Mechanical experience preferred
    • Conduct regular inspections to make sure equipment and operations are reliable
    • Work in coordination with internal teams and third parties to deploy, implement and run operations
    • Assist site operations manager on projects
    • Read gas meters and instrumentation recording the amounts of gas and power received and consumed
    • Set units and perform start-up procedures on location
    • Assist in disassembly and removal of units from location
    • Respond to unscheduled service calls
    • Assist in training other field technicians
    • Maintain proper tools and supplies as needed for field operations
    • Analyze reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service, and maintenance processes, and recommend modifications to eliminate future problems

    Qualifications

    • Driver's License
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Electrical troubleshooting
