    Description
    Our client located in Fairfield, NJ is currently looking for an Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for month end close, journal entries, account analysis, and monthly reporting. This individual will also be involved in Property and construction accounting. This position will report to the controller and it will offer an excellent opportunity for advancement.

    We are a stable, profitable company who can offer the right person a challenging, long-term role while promoting a good work life balance.

    The successful candidate should have experience with a Real Estate Development/ Property Management company and have a fundamental understanding of property accounting.

    Excellent skills with excel are required as this role requires the analysis of large data sets along with excel extractions from our G/L.

    Public Accounting experience with Real Estate clients is a plus. Requirements include a BS in Accounting as well as 3 plus year of recent property accounting experience. Experience with Yardi or Timberline is strongly desired.
