    Description


    Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Civil Contractor in the Tallahassee, FL area on their search for a Construction Estimator to focus on work in the Civil Sector, working in a team to put together estimates.

    As a Project Estimator, your main responsibility will be to compile estimates for the cost of work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

    Included in this will be the estimation of labor, material, equipment, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost and duration of the project.

    Key Responsibilities:


    Perform all responsibilities of a Project Estimator including but not limited to the following:Review project plans, requirements, and specificationsPrepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricingPropose value engineering options to reduce project costDetermine costs of labor, material, and equipmentPush the evolution of the construction documents as necessaryPrepare conceptual estimatesMeet and maintain bidding and work schedulesSubmit requisitions for the purchase of materialsCompare competitive specialist and materialSkills & Qualifications:7+ years Estimating Road Construction ExperienceCivil Project ExperienceApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
