    Inside Sales Representative–$41,600-$46,000 -OTE- $52-$78K– Durham, NC

    The Role

    Do you have at least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or support role? Can you build strong client relationships and close deals with confidence? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

    ChemTek is leading the way in the asphalt paving industry. With a significant increase in interest due to our engaging social media campaigns, we require an experienced Inside Sales Representative to meet the growing demand.

    You will play a vital role in expanding our Mid-market Business by handling sales, technical support, and educational tasks. This position is essential in upholding our reputation for excellent customer service and high satisfaction levels.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead Engagement and Outreach: Promptly follow up on leads and connect with potential clients.
    • Customer Success Management: Ensure client success by advising on product choices and providing consistent support on product usage and application.
    • Build Relationships: Form and maintain solid relationships with current and prospective customers, demonstrating genuine interest in their needs and challenges.
    • Order Closing: Efficiently finalize orders from inbound leads through direct sales efforts, maximizing conversion rates and revenue.
    • CRM Data Management: Record all sales activities, upcoming tasks, and customer insights in Salesforce. Utilize Salesforce for activity management and daily planning.
    • Consultative Selling: Establish personalized relationships with customers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and offering tailored recommendations for cross-selling and upselling.
    • Customer First Attitude: Provide quick and responsive customer support.
    • Market and Product Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of the market and our customers' requirements.
    • Build Recurring Revenue: Strategically develop and nurture a client base to generate recurring revenue.

    The Person

    • Educational Background: A college degree is advantageous, but your determination and drive to succeed are crucial.
    • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in sales or support roles, showcasing effective client engagement or a track record of meeting targets and driving revenue growth.
    • CRM Proficiency: Skilled in Salesforce or similar CRM software.


    * Business Development Skills: Ability to proactively create new business opportunities and foster long-term client relationships through strategic approaches to sales prospects.

    • Expert Deal-Closing Skills: Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in closing deals and negotiating agreements.
