- Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects using latest software and 3D Design Techniques
- Assists the engineers in all phases of structures design
- Assists the engineers in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Participate in the collection and analysis of data and preparation of satisfactory designs
- Perform design calculations and conduct investigative analyses toward completion of assigned design tasks, and direct preparation of design specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Master's degree preferred but not required
- Emphasis in structural knowledge
- 1-5 years of structural related experience preferred
- Previous DOT experience desired but not required
- EIT (E.I) Certification is strongly desired
- Experience with MicroStation (preferred) and/or AutoCAD
- Previous structural modeling experience preferred
