- Job Title: Access Services Specialist
- Nature of Work: Provides information research support, customer service, and library opening/closing oversight.
- Supporting and answering questions from library patrons in person and virtually.
- Assisting patrons with the use of multimedia and technology equipment.
- Troubleshooting requests for help with accessing library resources remotely.
- Coordinating hold shelf services and after-hours pickups.
- Developing advertising strategies to increase awareness of library resources and services.
- Participating in diverse and inclusive learning opportunities.
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field and one year of library experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Customer service skills, experience in academic/public libraries, and knowledge of library catalogs and databases.
- Effective communication, outstanding customer service, and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of library search tools, ability to manage multiple tasks, and advance diversity and inclusion.
