Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Data Visualization and Dashboard Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, analytics, and data visualization, and a proven track record of creating intuitive and visually appealing dashboards from complex data sets.

Description:
The Data Visualization and Dashboard Specialist is responsible for the development of tools and dashboards to allow stakeholders to easily understand different data sets in context of each other. This position requires a deep understanding of data visualization and analytics best practices in order to provide clear solutions for how best to present these data sets. Experience with common data visualization platforms/tools and how other applications may integrate is a plus, as is experience with UX design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and developers, to understand user needs and requirements for data visualizations and dashboards.
• Build and refine dashboards and reports, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience (preferably in Epic & Power BI).
• Create data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to a diverse audience.
• Develop and manage data visualization and dashboard guidelines, processes, and best practices.
• Collect feedback from stakeholders and continuously improve data and analytics products.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data visualization and dashboard design.
• Craft compelling stories from data for leaders and stakeholders to better understand their audiences.
• Partner with data analysts and trainers to ensure the adoption of analytics products.
• Be a subject matter expert in data visualization and coach/mentor others in on best practices and how best to communicate with data.
• Qualifications:
• Seven (7) years of experience in data visualization and/or dashboard development.
• Candidates with relevant IT, Data Science, Computer Science, Epic, &/or Project Management certifications may be considered with references and demonstrated mastery of facilitating and implementing application. solutions, within relevant digital spaces for a minimum of seven (7) years.
• Epic certification in one application; Epic certification in multiple applications preferred.
