    Role Overview
    We are seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive with a true hunter mentality to drive new business growth within our brokerage division. This role is designed for an experienced freight brokerage sales professional who thrives on prospecting, opening doors, and winning new customers.
    The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of successful brokerage sales experience, a proven ability to build a book of business from scratch, and the confidence to sell customized, high-touch logistics solutions. This is not a farming role-success is measured by new logo acquisition, revenue growth, and margin performance.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Proactively identify, target, and acquire net-new shipper accounts across our core service offerings including FTL(sprinter van/box truck), LTL, Open Deck(specialized heavy haul), Ocean, and Rail.
    • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and close.
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
    • Collaborate closely with operations and carrier sales teams to ensure executable, profitable solutions.
    • Develop deep understanding of customer supply chains to position us as a long-term partner.
    • Consistently meet or exceed new revenue, margin, and activity targets.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting discipline.
    • Represent us professionally in the market, reinforcing our reputation for reliability and responsiveness.
    • Travel as needed to new and prospective clients to expand relationships.
    Required Qualifications
    • 5+ years of freight brokerage sales experience with a strong emphasis on hunting and new account acquisition.
    • Documented track record of building and managing a profitable book of business.
    • Deep knowledge of domestic brokerage services (OTR, LTL, expedited, specialized as applicable).
    • Strong prospecting skills with the resilience and discipline required for high-volume outreach.
    • Proven negotiation skills and comfort selling value-not just price.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skill.
    • Proven ability to deliver results under pressure.
    • Knowledge of TMS technology.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Existing shipper relationships that can be developed compliantly.
    • Experience selling time-critical, expedited, or high-touch freight solutions.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and modern sales enablement tools.
    • Prior experience in entrepreneurial or growth-stage brokerage environments.
