Here's how your 2.5 to 3-year training will go:

  • Start together in the introductory workshop, where you will get to know comdirect - a brand of Commerzbank AG - and other trainees and network directly within the bank
  • Alternate between vocational school days and several-week-long practical phases in the company
  • Focus on practical training in application development
  • Seminars at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Provadis, as well as internal training programs and e-learning complement the training
  • Comprehensive practical training in experienced teams, where you will become an expert in software solution development and optimization, new development and adaptation of applications, Big Data, Cloud, and APIs
  • Planning, conceptualization, and programming of applications for the IT departments of our bank
  • Get to know our business processes and products, as well as valuable experience in agile project work

After a successful training:

You will have very good chances of being permanently hired with the IHK certificate as a specialist in computer science

You can either start directly or continue with our support program and pursue a degree

Your company training will take place in Quickborn near Hamburg.
