PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Tax Manager on a Direct Hire basis for our sister company CPA firm in Englewood, CO.

Summary

With locations in multiple states in and around Colorado, we are seeking exceptional candidates for a Tax Manager role within our tax and consulting division. This full-time opportunity offers a clear path to partnership for motivated individuals, with the potential for rapid promotion due to our firm's ongoing expansion. Responsibilities

Oversee and review various elements of tax return preparation for entities like individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
Assist preparatory personnel by answering technical questions, gathering client information, and navigating tax software such as Ultra Tax.
Investigate and advise on tax-efficient strategies in collaboration with partners and team members.
Lead, educate, and guide team members through tax projects.
Keep in constant contact with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and meet deadlines.
Stay current with professional development training to remain informed about tax updates and issues impacting clients.

Required Skills

5-7+ years of progressive experience in public accounting.
Strong experience supervising and reviewing tax preparations for both individuals and corporations.
Working knowledge of most aspects of US taxation and tax planning.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Bachelors in Accounting and active CPA is required. Masters in Taxation preferred.
Experience and/or desire to manage a tax return preparation team is a plus but not required.

Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000, potentially higher DOE
