- High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience with commercial HVAC equipment required. In process of or confirmed completion of 2-year basic HVAC course at an accredited college or trade school is preferred (may be required by assigned hotel location).
- Cooling tower chiller and refrigeration experience is required.
- EPA Universal license is required; HVAC License preferred.
- Knowledge of building automated systems preferred.
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state (as required by hotel).
- Troubleshoot and repair all HVAC equipment. Including but not limited to roof top units exhaust systems chillers ice machines commercial kitchen equipment and cooling towers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment.
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
