- Perform maintenance and repairs to all mechanical equipment and systems.
- Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action.
- Respond to all HVAC trouble calls and troubleshoot the systems to meet the critical specifications of all Data Centers and critical environments as well as operational and comfort needs of the building(s) occupants, where applicable.
- Be proficient in the functionality of the BMS/EMS and understand the sequences required for proper building, equipment and system operations.
- Work with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems.
- Maintain a professional, safe and clean environment.
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule and maintain HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs.
- Completes work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
- Create and maintain all operational SOPs for site specific equipment and systems.
- Mentor / train assigned apprentices.
- Ten years' Experience operating central plant.
- Experience working with DDC and pneumatic controls
- Experience working with capital construction projects.
- Minimum of Ten years field experience in down town class A office towers
- Education or training in HVAC, refrigeration and controls
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License 5 Plus years Required (unlicensed opportunities also available)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong writing skills required.
- Ability to lift 25lbs frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally
- Climb and work off of ladders and aerial lifts safely
- Observant which requires seeing, hearing, and smelling

Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment.
This includes but is not limited to; chillers, cooling towers, fans, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, ancillary support equipment, water treatment, Perimeter Induction units, fan coil units, VAV units, DDC / pneumatic controls and BMS/EMS.

Saturday - Wednesday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
