Under the general direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor, Health Advancement, the Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level project management and administrative support to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Health Advancement on a wide range of issues, projects, programs and other matters for Health Advancement programs, which includes all of the Health Affairs fundraising teams and associated programs.

The incumbent will perform coordination of complex, confidential and sensitive issues of a broad scope related to fundraising programs Health Affairs-wide and will inform the Associate Vice Chancellor of the emerging issues and events that affect Health Advancement and provide analysis and recommendations on a portfolio of strategic issues.

This position will serve in a liaison role, responding with tact and diplomacy for the Associate Vice Chancellor through verbal and/or written communications.

The incumbent independently gathers data from a variety of sources, evaluates and analyzes data, prepares detailed information and recommendations for various projects, presentations, meetings and conferences.

This position will manage a complex appointment calendar and telephone calls for the Associate Vice Chancellor and will provide high-level project management and administrative support on a wide range of issues, projects, programs and other matters.

Required:


  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience providing support to an executive or multiple executives
  • Some Advancement experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.


Preferred:

Knowledge of Salesforce


Special Conditions Preferred:


  • May be required to drive on occasion in order to perform the routine or essential job responsibilities for the position.
  • May be required to work nights and weekends occasionally in support of events
  • Must possess a valid California driver license and participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program
