    Description
    Long term contract - flexible part time hours

    We are seeking an Instructional Designer to provide course design capability with subject matter experts in our technical and functional disciplines.

    The successful candidate will possess a unique combination of project management, analytical, creative, and consultative skills with a strong background in technical writing, curriculum development, and application of adult learning principles.

    Experience in the EPC industry is preferred, including experience in Engineering, Project Controls, Estimating or Project Management.


    Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions primarily in core technical/functional disciplines (e.g., Engineering, Project Management, Estimating, and Project Controls).


    • Develop and oversee instructional design projects in collaboration with a team
    • Determine the best adult learning modalities for programs


    Accredited two to four year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty (10) years if non-degreed.


    • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to technical subject matter experts, management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
    • Knowledge and application of adult learning principals and ADDIE model


    Advanced degree or global equivalent in Instructional Design for Adult Learners and Technical degrees such as Engineering or Project Management.


    • Experience with needs analysis, designing, building and delivering training programs to a wide variety of audiences
    • Knowledgeable of and ability to apply theories and concepts of adult learning and development including the use of technology
    • Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
    • Proficient in e-learning software Adobe Captivate and or Articulate Storyline
    • Knowledge of technologies used in the delivery of training
    • Certification in various leadership, management, and professional training programs
