    AVER is a rapidly growing SDVOSB that has achieved significant revenue growth in the past 5+ years with a focus on Data Analytics, Mission Support, IT Modernization, and Biometrics. We are on the lookout for an experienced Functional Business Analyst with Finance and Accounting expertise to bring functional knowledge of Federal financials and accounting to support a large Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Financial Systems Modernization project. As a Functional Business Analyst, your role will involve defining requirements, validating logic for separating data, collaborating with client stakeholders, and working with technical team members to implement a new COTS-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.     Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data cleansing, profiling, and conversion support
    • Utilize Federal ERP financials and accounting knowledge to define requirements and create functional specifications
    • Analyze data separations' impact and document business logic for compliance
    • Conduct financial and accounting solutioning workshops
    • Estimate financial impacts of different solution architecture alternatives
    • Create industry-specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards
    • Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client needs
    • Validate data with data owners and reconcile transaction details
    • Analyze business processes and translate requirements into solutions

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or relevant field

    Experience Requirements:

    • 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, business, or functional analysis
    • 3+ years of experience in collaborating on financial and accounting configurations
    • 3+ years of experience with Federal ERP financials and accounting systems
    • Experience with Finance Master Data and government systems
    • Ability to adapt in changing environments and work with various tools
    • Experience with Microsoft Office tools and platforms like SharePoint and ServiceNow
    • Prior experience supporting Federal government clients

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in supporting Federal SAP S/4 Hana business application development
    • Knowledge of ERP deployment transformation process areas
    • Previous experience within DHS
    • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
    • Attention to detail, time management, and follow-through
    • Active DHS clearance

    Location:

    • REMOTE (Local to Washington, DC)

    Security Requirements:

    • Government clearance (Public Trust) needed
    • U.S. citizenship required for this role
