    Job Overview:


    We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled In-Home Care Professional to join our team, providing essential care and support to our clients in Blue Hill, NE. This part-time position involves assisting clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their overall well-being in the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated caregiver who is attentive to the needs of our clients and possesses a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to the dietary needs of each client.
    • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and hygienic living environment.
    • Provide companionship and engage in social and recreational activities to enhance the client's quality of life.
    • Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs to the supervising nurse or care manager.
    • Accompany clients to appointments or outings, providing transportation as needed.
    • Administer medications under the direction of healthcare professionals and in accordance with the care plan.
    • Support clients with mobility and physical activities, using equipment and techniques to ensure safety.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home care or nursing assistance is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role; experience with elderly or disabled clients is highly desirable.
    • Ability to perform physical tasks required by the job, including lifting and transferring clients.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to caregiving.
    • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if driving is required for the role.
    • Must pass a background check and have excellent references.
    • First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.

    Compensation:

    • Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience.
