- Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to, personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage in activities that enrich the client's life.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs to the appropriate family member or agency coordinator.
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Accompany clients to appointments or run errands as needed.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in in-home care or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
