Job Description

As an independent and self-directed individual, you will oversee the UGI Electric Distribution Line Department, focusing on preserving the distribution system's capability to serve both new and existing customers reliably, safely, and economically within the Electric Distribution Department.

Roles and Responsibilities

Supervise the work done by company linemen, including coordinating with other departments and external customers as needed.
Organize, mobilize, and schedule the linemen workforce and equipment.
Evaluate, purchase, and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required for the company linemen to work safely and effectively.
Provide necessary programs and training for company linemen to work efficiently and safely.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Understanding of UGI's distribution line construction standards, methods, and equipment.
Familiarity with UGI's internal systems such as SAP, DOJM, and others.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety codes.
Ability to manage projects independently.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to handle public interactions professionally.

Education and Experience

Preferably First Class Lineman/Journeyman Lineman experience or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with relevant experience.
At least ten years of experience with increasing responsibility and skill level.
Experience in overhead and underground utility line construction and maintenance work preferred.
Union-focused supervisory experience is a plus.
