    Transportation company for developmentally disabled adults is seeking a SHUTTLE DRIVER for route in Greater Tampa.

    ALSO HIRING FOR PINELLAS ROUTE OR PER DIEM DRIVER FOR EITHER/BOTH COUNTIES

    STARTING PAY IS $15 PER HOUR

    JOB DUTIES:

    Driving individuals with disabilities from their homes to their day programs from Mon - Fri only.

    The hours are about 28-32 hrs per week, from around 6:00 -9:30am for the morning route then the afternoon route is from 1:30-4:30 pm. Then free time on the break in between shifts.

    Its comparable to a school-bus drivers schedule. Picking up and dropping off individuals with the occasional assistance needed helping passengers in/out of the vehicle. Van/bus is supplied by the company to be kept safely at the driver's residence, if available.

    All fuel, maintenance, etc is paid by the company. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.

    Job Qualifications:

    An FDLE fingerprint background check is required to be run by the state (paid by the company), so a clean background and great driving record are required. Basic computer skills is required access to computer or smartphone for accessing your company email to receive communications.

    Prefer a smoke free workplace. Applicants who have previously worked with disabilities are preferred, but not required.

    CPR, First-Aid and other ONLINE training will be required with in the 1st month (paid for by the company).
