The purpose of this role is to be a consultative strategy partner who helps to inform and shape the business vision of senior clients, who provides marketing and business consulting that identifies new opportunities to create marketplace advantage; and who leads teams of strategists who execute programmes for clients.


Qualifications

  • Reports to the Chief Strategy Officer. Manages a team of integrated strategy managers and analysts. Also leads teams of disciplinespecific or industryvertical strategists from the LOBs when engaged on integrated accounts or pitches the role is one orchestrator/influencer vs. formal direct reporting relationship.
  • Partners with integrated client leads across a number of key integrated accounts to actively shape both the client's vision for their gotomarket approach and the vision for dentsu's relationship with the client and develops a roadmap on how to align those two in order to drive business growth for the client and organic growth for Dentsu.
  • Collaborates with integrated client leads to 1) proactively identify organic growth opportunities for Dentsu in the context of the client's business ambition, 2) develop an approach on how to best engage the client and 3) leads the development of an integrated strategy that becomes the platform for a bespoke solutions development effort against the identified opportunity.
  • Aligns crossdisciplinary teams around an integrated strategic vision on how to advance a client's growth ambition across the total customer journey. This involves leading the crossdisciplinary team in defining a strategic direction, collaboratively developing an integrated solution and ensuring strategic alignment through to execution.
  • Leads and orchestrates in close collaboration with LOB growth officers and client leads the strategic component of integrated new business pitches (strategic framing of challenge, journey development, insightsdriven narrative/platform and integrated solutions development)Establishes and leads industryvertical "Centres of Excellence" (aligned to their experience/interests) that brings together talent from across Dentsu's LOBs with relevant vertical market expertise to develop categoryspecific thoughtleadership and strategy "play books" that can be used to engage both existing clients and prospects.
  • Creates provocative and industryleading thoughtleadership that 1) elevates Dentsu's stature among industry peers, 2) strengthens Dentsu's value proposition as a strategic transformation partner to clients and 3) acts as an accelerator for conversations with clients and prospects on new gotomarket opportunities.
  • Designs and develops integrated strategy capabilities that can be evolved into and packaged as a repeatable, marketfacing consultative service offering.
