    **JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY**

    Position Responsibilities:

    Provides responsive, exemplary customer service to current and potential customers, regardless of the reason for contacting Sunbelt Rentals

    Qualifies inbound customer contacts to understand projects and explain what equipment would best help to successfully complete the project safely and efficiently

    Builds relationships with customers to make them feel important and their business appreciated to ensure return business

    Completes customer orders, sources equipment as needed, places service calls, processes order cancellations and requests equipment pick-ups in relation to our Tool Rental Fulfillment Center (TRFC) and support of the Retail Service Centers (RSC)

    Meets, greets, and services walk-in customers at the Tool Rental Fulfillment Center

    Assists with training customers and Sunbelt personnel on the safe and efficient operation of rental tools

    Maintains open communications with the local General Tool branches and RSC to coordinate the fulfillment of orders and other operational aspects of the business

    Maintains an open communication channel between the Customer Care department and the other departments within the TRFC

    Always displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude with our customers

    Continues to develop and grow with the business segments to ensure that the leadership staff is knowledgeable of any and all opportunities that might arise

    Makes recommendations for improvement of all existing processes and procedures

    Requirements:

    Education & Experience:

    Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

    Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment

    Must possess a professional, friendly attitude and strong telephone handling skills to be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone

    Must be a strong team player and enjoy supporting others to get things done

    Must display a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude at all times

    Strong PC systems and typing skills (CRM, email, chat)

    Previous experience in a call center customer service role preferred

    Working knowledge of Sunbelts point of sale system, Wynne or AS400 preferred

    Previous equipment rental or construction industry experience preferred

    Physical Demands:

    Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelts safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.
