    Description:Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area is seeking a Manufacturing Training Manger. This position manages manufacturing skills training for the Orlando site and leads a team of technical trainers.


    • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of training curriculums
    • Responsible for scheduling training to meet production needs
    • Works with production leadership to evaluate course needs
    • Partners with counterparts at other sites
    • Supports the needs of 5 different factories and various labs
    • Manages training for electrical, mechanical, optical, machining, and microelectronic production
    • Supports continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new technology and methods
    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience teaching manufacturing skills
    • Experience developing new courses
    • Experience leading a team
    • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications
    • Demonstrated presentation skills
    • The candidate must be a US citizen.
    Desired Skills:

    - expertise in training in one or more of the following areas: optics, electrical assembly, and microelectronics.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
