If you are looking for a job with flexible scheduling to accommodate school, kids, or full-time employment, LOOK NO FURTHER The Customer Service Representative position is a flexible part-time position at the Shawnee Civic Centre. This position is responsible for overall building supervision and public assistance. This involves equipment set-up, ensuring rooms are set up to renters' satisfaction, light facility maintenance work, assisting the public, responding to requests for assistance, enforcing the policies of the facility, answering telephones, and receiving fees and registration. Work is performed independently within guidelines of policies and procedures. There is direct interaction with customers, the general public, and other department personnel and agencies.

This is a part-time position averaging 15-20 hours per week. The majority of the hours for this position will be evenings and weekends. Candidates must be available and willing to work this schedule. ***Pay for this position begins at $12.00/hour.***

**Position Responsibilities:**

**Facility Set-up, Supervision and Maintenance.** Prepares facilities for activities (e.g., setting up chairs and tables, recreational and other equipment) monitors facilities to ensure proper use, enforces the rules and regulations of the Civic Centre. Performs light maintenance (e.g., collecting trash around and in the facility, vacuuming and using the carpet extractor).

**Customer Service.** Answers multi-line telephone and provides information, responds to caller requests, processes memberships, prints reports, and provides general assistance and information to facility users.

**Fees and Registration.** Collects receipts, registrations and fees, maintains records.

**Troubleshooting and Support.** Responds to issues and complaints related to the use of the Civic Centre and refers problems as needed.

**Administrative Support.** Provides administrative support to all full time personnel at the Civic Centre.

**Custodial.** Performs light custodial duties.

**Other Duties.** Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

High school diploma or the equivalent.

A minimum of two (2) years experience requiring public contact and customer service.

Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities identified in this job posting will also be considered.
