Duties:

As part of the CHIPS Investment Office Operations team, you will:

  • Lead investment process operations in the CHIPS Investment Office tracking project progress against established milestones, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to optimize outcomes to ensure alignment of investment activities with stakeholder expectations and organizational goals.
  • Lead investment process program design and implementation efforts by managing internal working groups compromised of industry and financial experts across CPO's verticals, developing workplans, and briefing leadership as needed to implement a rigorous investment process that aligns with NOFO goals.

Education

  • Undergraduate and

Graduate Education:

_ Major study - finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position, such as agriculture, agricultural economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology.

Experience

  • Specialized Experience (for positions above GS5):_ Experience such as performing financial analysis and evaluation work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of (1) corporate finance and any specialized fields of finance required such as public finance, securities, international finance, money and securities markets, investments, and banking, and (2) the financial and management structure, operations, and practices of corporate and other organizations.

In addition to the basic requirements, applicants must also have 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 (ZA-II at NIST) level.


Specialized Experience is defined as:


  • Experience in an analytical/ project management role;
  • Experience in Microsoft suite including Microsoft Excel; and
  • Working collaboratively in a teamoriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
