As an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor at Pitney Bowes, you will work under the supervision of the Site Maintenance Manager and be responsible for supervising technical support resources for the assigned operating center to ensure all processes and procedures are followed and equipment is properly maintained.

You Will:


Participate in activities regarding team member recruitment, professional development, and performance, define training requirements, and manage time and attendance of technician staff.

Establish and continuously improve communications between operations, technical services and all other stakeholders to ensure team meets operational expectations.

Work with the onsite facility personnel to schedule necessary resources to support workload, track performance and provide feedback.


Establish and maintain a strong presence at assigned sites across multiple shifts to monitor deliverables and ensure proper job performance by team members.

Address any mechanical or electrical issues that arise and take proper action to diagnose and/or fix the problem.

Assist with management of the CMMS system to include adding equipment to PM Plans, Schedules, and Work Packages.


Review WO Data accuracy such as Equipment on WOs, Booked Hours (Employee and Vendors), parts usage, WO type, closing codes and WO Comments.


Be responsible for following OSHA and other standard safety guidelines, conducting business as outlined by company policy, and using personal integrity to accomplish goals.


Willingness to learn and utilize scissor and boom lifts and other manual and automated MHE to perform daily duties required.


Ensure tracking all machine downtime, scheduling and documenting P/M's, maintaining inventory of spares parts and assisting Operations management to achieve P&L goals, safety standards, performance goals, and customer service standards.


Your Background:

3+ year's proven supervision experience in an industrial maintenance production environment managing and leading teams preferred.


Minimum 4 years' experience in the PM, installation, trouble shooting, and repair of complex industrial equipment to include robotics, conveyors, PLC systems, sortation systems, and other automated material handling equipment (MHE) preferred.

Experience in the recruitment, professional development, training, and performance of maintenance personnel preferred.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, implementation and enforcement of safety protocols, and ability to develop pertinent procedures.

Willing to travel 10%-15% to other facilities as required.


4+ years' minimum experience with Motor Control systems (motor starts, servo drives, variable frequency drives (VFD), and AC/DC drives) preferred.

4+ years' industrial 120v/480v electrical experience wiring motors/panels, tracing blown fuses, and running conduit/power lines preferred.

Ability to fully understand and interpret blueprints, schematics, designs.


Ability to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs and modify software programs for material handling control systems, including Allen Bradley Controllogix and Compactlogix PLC platform utilizing RSLogix 5000 software package and Siemens Solutionline/Poweline drives preferred.

Knowledge of automated CMMS maintenance software or similar programs.

An AA degree in Industrial Technology, Electronics, Computer Science or related field of study is preferred.
