Description
**LOCATION:** Madison, WI **Summary:** If you possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and are detail-oriented, this may be your next career opportunity The QTI Group is assisting our client, a designer and manufacturer of fixtures, in recruiting to hire a **Customer Service Associate**, located on the southeast side of Madison. The primary responsibility of this DIRECT HIRE role is to provide customer service in a manufacturing environment and working directly with customers. This opportunity offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm and a pay rate of $20+/hour, based on experience.

**Responsibilities:**
Answer all incoming phone calls on a multi-line system, effectively route them and take complete messages
Handle all daily administrative duties including running reports, sending tracking and inventory information to customers, filing documents and gathering paperwork for internal departments
Enter orders into computer system quickly and accurately
Email and phone reach outs to new customers to solicit new business; add new customer contact info to internal email blast platform
Assist with customer concerns and product inquiries
Maintain solid customer relationships by fielding questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, and quality standards are met
Become well versed in company products
Daily monitoring of company's ecommerce website and communication with customers regarding web orders
Daily monitoring of any order platforms that external customers use
Monitor office supplies and work with purchasing department to order when needed
Complete test assemblies of company products as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
HS diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in a customer service or related role
Strong computer skills and proficiency operating Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word are required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid attention to detail skills
Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, sometimes stressful situations and deadline pressures as well as plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
Must have the ability to learn and master company's internal order entry system
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and lift or move up to 25 lbs.
