    Full Time - Laundry Assistant and Transportation Driver

    • We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, and well-presented individual to take on the roles of Laundry Assistant and Transportation Driver.

    Responsibilities of a Laundry Assistant

    • Collect, clean, and distribute residents' linens promptly and efficiently to meet their laundry and linen needs.
    • Ensure proper handling, processing, and storage of linens and resident clothing to prevent the spread of infections or diseases.

    Responsibilities of a Transportation Driver

    • Safely transport residents to their destinations (e.g., doctor's appointments, rehabilitation sessions) based on a set schedule.
    • Typical work week from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
    • Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, utilizing the wheelchair lift when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate transportation records and logs.
    • Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained (refueling, cleaning, reporting any issues to the Maintenance Director).

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work in a senior care environment without endangering oneself or others.
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination is required for employment at Spring Arbor, with accommodations available for valid medical or religious reasons.
