Purpose/Introduction:
Chevron Phillips Chemical is seeking an HRMS Specialist with a core skillset in the area of SAP SuccessFactors and Workforce Software at the Headquarters office in The Woodlands, Texas.
The role is responsible for providing first line systems functional/configuration support for multiple SuccessFactors modules and Workforce Software time management system.
Other role responsibilities include the evaluation, review, testing and implementation of new and existing functionality, reports and/or interfaces to support business requirements and system upgrades.
This position will sit within the Human Resources business unit and liaise with IT groups where necessary to ensure systems are continually meeting the needs of the business community they serve.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates, reviews, tests, and implements new and existing functionality, reports and/or interfaces to support business requirements and system upgrades
- Manages multiple tasks or assignments including the ability to organize, plan and lead projects to a successful completion
- Collaborates successfully with 3rd party vendors to support business activities
- Performs detailed analysis of user requests to determine impact and recommended steps for resolution and/or implementation
- Executes requirements gathering, functional testing, data migration, data analysis, writing SOW's and documentation
- Troubleshoots and resolves replication issues in a hybrid HR environment
- Displays strong analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to make timely and sound decisions based on logical assumptions, information, or strong intuition
- Collaborates in a team environment along with the commitment to the overall success of a group
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a "power user" with HRIT/HRIS implementation/support experience.
- Ability to perform detailed analysis of user requests to determine impact and recommended steps for resolution and/or implementation.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to make timely and sound decisions based on logical assumptions, factual information, or strong intuition.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or assignments including the ability to organize, plan and lead projects to a successful completion.
- The desire to work successfully with 3rd party vendors to support business activities and act as the liaison with the SAP IT team to troubleshoot, correct or enhance vendor CPI and Integration Center based interfaces.
- Experience with requirements gathering, functional testing, data migration, data analysis, writing SOW's and documentation.
- Ability to support ECP Support pack testing and implementation.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving replication issues in a hybrid HR environment.
- SAP SuccessFactors HRIT/HRIS implementation/support experience with the focus areas being one of the following: Employee Central, EC Payroll, Onboarding, Recruiting, LMS, Integration Center, Workforce Software Time and Attendance, Scheduler/FRMS and Reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Information Technology or equivalent.
- HRIT/HRIS implementation/support experience with the focus areas being any or all of the following: Workforce Timekeeping Software, SuccessFactors LMS, Recruiting, Onboarding, Integrations, Compensation, Employee Central, EC Payroll, OpenText xECM, Qualtrics, EZ Reporter.
- Experience with semiannual release testing in SuccessFactors.
