**Branch Manager (Retail Mortgage) - Remote**
at Sprout Mortgage Albuquerque, New Mexico The Branch Sales Manager directs and manages the sales activities of the branch, ensuring that efficient customer service is provided and quality loans are generated. This person is responsible for managing, coaching, and motivating a staff of outside loan officers to meet sales production goals, to assure compliance with, regulations and policies. This position requires strong sales and marketing skills, excellent communication skills and detailed follow-through. The Branch Sales Manager is expected to identify partnership opportunities and to develop strong business relationships.
**Responsibilities:**
3+ years of successful external/outside retail mortgage origination experiences with an emphasis on self-sourced business.
Proven track record of 2+ years of hiring, motivating, and/or managing a sales force in the mortgage industry; and/or demonstrated ability to hire, motivate and manage sales staff.
Proven sales experience with the ability to meet production standards set for Branch production.
History of ability to direct the work of mortgage loan officers. (Including setting and monitoring of goals, implementing policies and procedures, and managing price protection)
Proven history of established and documented referral partner relationships in the market in which they are applying (e.g., realtors, builders, attorneys, financial advisors, or CPAs).
**Requirements:**
3-5 years of experience in banking or mortgage industry with 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role in customer service, human resources, operations, business development, or sales management
Must have strong judgment and decision-making skills and excellent communication skills
Strong industry knowledge and advanced technical/ computer skills
Confident in all phases of the mortgage loan origination process with a firm grasp on products and regulations
Current NMLS or state license preferred
