Position Overview:


The Operations Inventory Control specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of distribution operations including receiving, shipping, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.

This position will ensure that all transactions are completed accurately and timely within the ERP System.

They will also ensure that all transactions are completed in accordance applicable standard operating procedures and will ensure Distribution personnel follow all applicable FDA and cGMP procedures.


Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:


  • Leads cycle count program, reviewing results and taking appropriate actions to ensure program is effectively monitoring inventory levels and assuring all transactional activities are being done timely and properly.
  • Monitors Receiving activities, ensuring all receipts are processed correctly and timely.
  • Works with Engineering and Quality to track and process Special Work order activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participates in planning and directing kitting activities. Ensures material movements and workorders are accurately processed in a timely manner.
  • Manage inventory transactions as needed.
  • Ensures that all team members are adequately trained, and activities are performed as specified in documented work instructions.
  • Assists in documenting current and future operations processes in the warehouse.
  • Use Lean principles and tools to drive a continuous improvement
  • Monitor KPI's to measure performance
  • Liaison between Accounting and Distribution
  • Participates in planning daily work requirements with team leads to facilitate flawless execution to meet requirements.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS Diploma required/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years inventory control experience

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in distribution and or receiving environment
  • Must have excellent leadership skills including team motivation, communication, and supervisory knowledge.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent inventory management and analytical skills.
  • Must be extremely service, internal customer, and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication

This position requires on-site working (requires on-site office/plant/lab work). #LI-Onsite


Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $ $34.30. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
