Within our Risk Management and Accounting Trading department, we are currently seeking a temporary Hauptbuchhalter (m/f/d) at our location in Cologne until December 31, 2026.

Responsibilities:

Managing daily cash movements and planning income and expenses from bilateral trades or stock market transactions
Processing and reconciling daily cash movements with the clearing bank
Reconciling and booking energy purchases, energy sales, fees, and margins from stock exchanges and clearing banks
Booking other business transactions related to trading
Preparing necessary reports (e.g. VAT, foreign trade reports)
Assisting with quarterly and annual financial statements

Requirements:

Vocational training with additional qualification as a certified accountant
Several years of professional experience in financial accounting at an energy trading or supply company
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of product range, strategies, and business processes in the energy trading sector according to HGB requirements
Excellent SAP knowledge in the FI module
