- tests on switch machines, track circuits (PF and AF), signals, and microprocessors (VPI, Microlok, and/or Electrologix) to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- in diverse field environments, including train control rooms, bungalows, and wayside tracks, to execute testing and commissioning activities effectively.
- knowledge of computer and network systems, including Windows, WireShark, SSH, and telnet, to analyze and troubleshoot signaling systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- expertise in signaling principles, troubleshooting techniques, software installation, and log retrieval to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- of 2-3 years of relevant experience in railway signaling systems testing and commissioning
- in using electrical tools and equipment for diagnostics and testing purposes
- understanding of computer and network systems, including Windows operating systems and networking protocols like SSH and telnet
- with signaling principles, software installation procedures, and log retrieval techniques
- problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in field environments with minimal supervision
