- Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Conduct inspections and audits of systems, equipment, or facilities to identify deficiencies and ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems and equipment.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of equipment to verify proper operation and performance.
- Document commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions, in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during the commissioning process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in commissioning activities.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and discussions to communicate commissioning status, issues, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the commissioning process.
- Train operations and maintenance personnel on the proper use and maintenance of commissioned systems and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in commissioning of systems, equipment, or facilities in a relevant industry, specifically data centers.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Familiarity with commissioning software tools and techniques is a plus.
- Professional certifications related to commissioning (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional) are desirable.
