- Directs and manages the operations of a DLA Disposition Services site and provides supervision over key personnel and DLA Disposition Services supervisors.
- Analyzes, plans, and affects best utilization and management of Disposition Services business operations and resources.
- Submits annual budget and operating plan recommendations
- Directs staff in innovative approaches to resolving problems and improving processes.
- Oversees the preparation of property for disposal in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding storage
- (Conti.) movement, and disposition with specific priority regarding hazardous material, environmental issues, and/or demilitarization

required Qualifications To qualify for a Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled
To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector
