    Reports to: CAPS Manager

    Location: Client office in Plano, TX

    Job Summary

    The Production Artist/Designer is responsible for creating the design and production of various projects to meet deliverables set by the client. The Production Artist/Designer is also responsible for to ensure brand requirements are met, to provide education to the client as needed, and to make best practices recommendations.

    Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for all digital/traditional, social, and web marketing production materials.

    2. Assists and collaborates with creative and account team. Design and produce collateral, P.O.S. materials, logos, interactive media, ad layouts, and meet the requirements of the client brand standards. Has advanced understanding of typography, layout, design and color.

    3. Works with the print production staff to determine size, shape, ink colors, paper stock, etc. to best achieve the desired effect in the provided budget. Verify that specs have been determined for projects started.

    4. Develops creative assets for digital distribution: deliver pixel perfect assets, both static and animated, (Bonus: HTML editing and coding as needed) to ensure on-time delivery of project.

    5. Stays current on digital marketing innovations; identifies new opportunities to provide current trends and offer best practice recommendations to clients.

    6. Monitors projects throughout design and production to assure highest level of quality control.

    Organizes final art files per Callahan's processes.

    Minimum Qualifications

    · BFA/BA in design, digital design, fine art or related field

    · 2-5 years of experience in an advertising agency

    Skills Required

    · Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Keynote

    · Video editing a plus

    · Technical expertise and strong email/digital design skills

    · Strong design aesthetic and expertise in typography

    · Highly organized with the ability to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced,

    deadline-driven environment

    · Detail-oriented with superior follow-through

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    · Strong work ethic, ownership, and accountability for business

    · Ability to collaborate and work as a team player with great initiative

    · Skilled in finalizing layouts and creating assets for digital and print communication needs

    · Supports the execution of new creative ideas and marketing campaigns with creative partners

    · Ability to maintain consistency of image quality for images from multiple sources

    · Simple HTML coding skills and knowledge of relevant Google and Microsoft products a plus
