    Exciting Job Opportunity: Production Artist

    ATTN: THIS POSITION IS FAST-PACED AND PRODUCTION ORIENTED. IT MAY REQUIRE EXTRA HOURS DURING OUR BUSY EVENT SEASONS.

    Centerstage Floors, the leading event Dance Floor, Bar and Stage Facades, Backdrops and Walls provider in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, is seeking a Production Artist/Printer Operator to join our growing team. Our focus is on quality, and our goal is to create unforgettable memories for our clients

    This is a full-time on-site role located in Dallas, TX for a Production Artist at Centerstage Floors. You will be responsible for creating designs and layouts for clients within given deadlines, communicating with clients for design edits and approval, creating high-quality print files for production, ensuring the quality and accuracy of printed materials, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining inventory of printing supplies.

    Responsibilities:

    Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite to create high-quality graphics

    Design monograms, logos, and various other design requests - Send client proofs and prepare files for print production

    Create and edit vector files

    Perform image retouching and manipulation as necessary

    Operate and maintain large format printers, plotters, and laminators

    Weed and tape, cut vinyl, and prep for installation

    Work collaboratively with the production team as well as clients to ensure goals are met

    Requirements:

    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator - Understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory

    Experience with large format printing, vinyl cutting/plotting, taping and laminating

    Ability to lift 50lbs safely and work over a waist-high table

    Organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasking skills

    Effective Communication Skills (oral and written)

    Ability to work in a team-based environment

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for projects

    Self-starter that can take the project from start to finish

    Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

    *Note* Please DO NOT apply if you do not have experience working with large-format vinyl printing, vinyl plotters, and vinyl lamination. We are looking for someone with experience and the ability to start working right away with minimal training.
