- NURSE MANAGER JOB SUMMARY The nurse manager leads frontline nursing staff in the delivery of patient care. The nurse manager guides the staff through action plans which support organizational goals of quality, efficiency, and excellence in practice.
- 24/7 accountability for the delivery of nursing care
- Adoption of innovative nursing practices based on evidence
- Effective two-way communication and problem-solving at the unit and organizational level
- Recruitment, selection, orientation, and retention of nursing staff
- Adherence to nursing standards of practice
- Regulatory standards
- Organizational and unit policies
- Infection control practice
- I CARE standards of behavior
- Implement changes in nursing practice and/or patient care through the shared governance structure
- This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services, ICARE standards, adherence to the Code of Conduct, organization policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Administration and Code of Ethics for Nurses.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years related nursing experience
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Related Nursing Specialty Certification
