- Designs and maintains the HRIS in support of the organization's data management and reporting needs.
- Monitors HRIS integrations for success, accuracy and timeliness and archives files after successful run and transmission.
- Researches, designs, and tests systems and processes to develop improvements, recommend solutions, and implement new applications, including software releases, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Serves as functional SME for HR technology projects; gathers requirements, documents business process procedures, and systems integrations.
- Ensures accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS. Follow established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
- Creates standard and ad hoc reports, consult with end users on reporting solutions and provide data summaries or statistical analysis for use in strategic planning or decision-making.
- Troubleshoots and logs issues with leadership, business partners, and service providers, follow up, and tests solutions.
- Prepares end-user documentation, training materials, and conducts relevant trainings for staff as needed.
- Performs work under minimal supervision. Handle complex issues and refers only the most complex and/or high-impact issues to leadership. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
- Performs other job-related duties and projects as assigned.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 4+ years of human resources systems experience required; 2+ years of Workday experience required.
- 1+ years project management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Adept at multitasking.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sensitivity to service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
- Understand CII's basic philosophy and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID to comply with the California Department of Public Health (CPHD) order issued on August 5, 2021
