Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse and ensuring accurate inventory control.

This is a crucial role in our operations, as you will play a key part in maintaining the flow of materials and supporting our production processes.


Duties:


  • Safely operate various types of equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, cranes, and RF scanners
  • Load and unload materials from trucks or containers using appropriate equipment
  • Move materials to designated storage areas within the warehouse
  • Perform inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies
  • Prepare materials for shipment by verifying orders and packaging items securely
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as OSHA guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment

Skills:


  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a warehouse setting
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
  • Proficient in operating various types of equipment, such as forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, cranes, and RF scanners
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if applicable)
  • Certification in forklift operation (preferred)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds

Pay:
$19.58 per hour
