About Us:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our facilities maintenance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our subsidized housing facilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the facilities maintenance team.
  • Oversee and participate in the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other traderelated work.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall facility operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Manage the budget for the maintenance department and track expenditures.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within facilities maintenance.
  • Extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, and other trades.
  • Proven experience in maintaining subsidized housing facilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or a related trade.
  • Experience with budget management and cost control in a maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
