We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist that is eager to gain valuable experience and develop foundational skills in various areas of HR. This role will be supporting the HR team in delivering effective HR services and programs to employees and managers across the organization.

Recruiting and Onboarding:

with job postings on job boards and company sites.
resumes and conducting phone screenings of candidates.
interview schedules and logistics.
new hire onboarding activities, including paperwork and orientation sessions.

Employee relations:

support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
with employee inquiries and requests related to HR matters.
issues to HR management as needed.
with employee programs and events.

HR administration

HR records and databases, including employee files and HRIS systems.
entry, updating employee information, and generating HR reports on a weekly basis.
HR documentation such as offer letters, corrective actions, and notices.
and transmitting timesheets to payroll on a weekly basis.

HR projects and activities:

with Wellness programs and other seasonal employee events.
ideas and suggestions for process improvements in the HR department.
communication boards.
with other HR team members including payroll to ensure efficient HR operations.

Administrative Support:

administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, mail distribution, answering phones, and handling correspondence.
meetings, travel arrangements, preparing documents and presentations.
employee records and filing.

Qualifications:

degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
least 2 years of experience of HR practices in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
understanding of HR principles and employment related laws and regulations.
to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

Working demands:

office work. Monday to Friday.
periods working on a computer.
to travel occasionally within the U.S.
to walk around the factory floor.
to lift and transport up to 15 lbs.

Eligibility:

background check and drug test.
to work in the U.S.
