- Salaried position ($60-80,000 salary)
- Plus annual bonus averaging 10-13% of salary in recent years

- Monday to Friday work hours, mostly 8-5, working about 40-45 hrs/week (so very minimal overtime expectations)
- Reporting to the Engineer Manager onsite
- Desk work AND Hands-on, mechanical work - we need someone who can jump from the keyboard (schematics, excel sheets) to being tools in hand (working on machinery, testing, running parts alongside an operator)
- Communicate at multiple levels of the organization to make recommendations based on facts
- Review product designs for manufacturability, tolerance adherence, functionality, and safety
- Lead process development efforts to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, demonstrating compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in process optimization for customer quotes and implement Lean manufacturing principles.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance cycle times, reduce spoilage, and increase throughput.
- Assist production staff with technical expertise to maintain peak efficiency.
- Conduct cause analysis and implement corrective actions for customer complaints or internal failures.
- Lead APQP activities for plant launches, including evaluating process effectiveness, installing new equipment, and conducting prototype runs.
- Train operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel on new processes and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with PPAP and other quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong basic computer proficiency (think MS Office suite & Windows OS)
- Strong problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate manufacturing environments.
- When needed, you must be able to stand for extended periods and work in confined spaces throughout our production floor
- Hands-on, full-time work experience with automation in manufacturing
- Experience with CAD/CAM drawings.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with FMEA and DOE.
- Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Fanuc Robots.

Job DescriptionCadillac Products Automotive Company (CPAC) is looking for a Process Engineer to work in our Roseville Facility. We currently have two individuals on this team, so you would be the third. Process Engineering at CPAC, in this role, primarily means optimizing, documenting, and updating process work instructions and tooling specifications.
There are about 30 individuals working in our Roseville location, 20 or so on 1st shift, when you would be working. This is a collaborative, hands-on, team oriented role. This facility has a good team of people committed to working together to get things done, solve problems, and make improvements.
Machinery & mechanicals you could be working with: Fanuc Robots, CNCs, Clutch Motors, Extruders, Hydraulic Presses, Grinders, Thermo-formers. There is a wide range of older, mechanical machinery and newer, computer-controlled machines & automation.
