What to expect

As a Process Engineer as Operations Engineer for the KCI Operations department at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Zielitz, you will be responsible for the following tasks: ​ ​

  • Ensuring production in planned quantity and quality while ensuring occupational health and safety and environmental protection
  • Monitoring the proper use of machinery, equipment, and resources for optimal operation in terms of productivity, quality, and cost
  • Technical leadership and responsibility for assigned areas
  • Coordination of measures and interface function
  • Compliance with and implementation of all relevant regulations and operating instructions for occupational health, safety, environmental protection, and fire protection, as well as fulfilling all obligations from the mining authority appointment
  • Optimization of factory equipment and implementation of testing and research programs for the further development of production facilities
What you bring
  • Successfully completed studies in process engineering, mineral processing, or comparable fields
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to cooperate, assertiveness, and initiative
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP
