    Description

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply strategies.

    Job Objectives:

    • Timely purchasing of all stock and project-related inventory.
    • Develop close working relationship with vendors/reps to obtain the most competitive pricing on all purchases.
    • Track all POs and Return Goods Authorizations. Update ETAs on a timely basis.
    • Make inventory and ticket adjustments and investigate the cause of inventory discrepancies.
    • Obtain refunds for defective and damaged products.
    • Consult with sales team on pricing of materials and freight cost.
    • Coordinate shipping schedule with Vendors/reps.
    • Work with Accounts Payable team to ensure correct billing.
    • Maintain confidentiality of pricing and projects.
    • Verify price sheet updates.
    • Work with utility vendors to apply for, track and receive eligible rebates.

    Skills required:

    • Three to five years experience in procurement. Preference will be given to candidates with electrical or lighting procurement work histories.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Solid time management skills - understand levels of importance in daily tasks and/or ask for guidance on what tasks are most important.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as relationship building skills.
    • Technical experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Candidates with experience in Epicor Eclipse will be given preference.
