- Manage the full life cycle of federal government contracts, from preaward through closeout.
- Review and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.
- Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and milestones.
- Assist in contract negotiations and modifications as needed.
- Work closely with contractors to address changes in scope, pricing, and other contract terms.
- Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant federal regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in federal contracting policies and guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate contractrelated risks.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address contractual issues.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Address inquiries, provide clarification on contract terms, and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of contractrelated activities.
- Generate reports on contract status, performance, and compliance.
- Manage the contract closeout process, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Coordinate with finance and other departments to facilitate a smooth closeout process.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in federal government contracting and contract management.
- Indepth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal contracting processes.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
- Certification in federal contracting (e.g., FAC-C or DAWIA).
- Familiarity with government contract management systems and tools.
- Experience with various contract types, including fixedprice, costreimbursement, and IDIQ.
- Understanding of small business contracting programs.
